If you are anything like me, you want to stay healthy. If you are a mom, you desperately want to keep your entire family healthy. You may even obsess over it a little (or is that just me?). It isn’t just wanting your kids to be safe from broken bones, asthma attacks and scary chronic diseases; it’s keeping them from getting the flu and the common but oh-so-annoying cold. Any sickness in the house means lost work days, lost school days and no one wants either of those things.
I remember my mom giving me chewable multi vitamins as a kid and thought it was the best part of breakfast time! I also remember her giving me calcium tablets as a preteen and really hating those. I’ve been taking vitamins in one form or another for my whole life. I’ve tried lots of different brands, different tastes, different combinations. Ever since I became a mom over 15 years ago, I’ve been trying to get daily vitamins into my four kids as well. Some brands or tastes have been a success, others a big fail. A few months ago I even tried a new daily gummy multi vitamin that absolutely tasted like cheap plastic. Those went into the garbage can immediately.
Recently, I partnered with the Rainbow Light line of vitamins for preteens, teens and adults. This line offers organic multivitamins filled with immune-boosting key ingredients to support the entire family during cold and flu season. All of the vitamins in the Rainbow Light line are vegetarian and gluten-free. Additionally, they contain no eggs, milk, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, or shellfish, making them a great fit for a household that struggles with various food allergies or intolerance (as ours does). Our personal family favorite are the Vitamin C orange slices; honestly, they taste so good that my kids fight over who gets to take them first. My teens like taking the Active Health Teen vitamins specifically formulated for their growing bodies and needs, while Sam and I enjoy our own formulated Men’s One and Women’s One vitamins.
Mom life is busy and sick kids are no fun. I feel like the Rainbow Light line has been the perfect way to support my kids immune systems and my own as well. There are a lot of vitamin brands in the market and I’ve tried most of them. I’m happiest with the overall support and plan of Rainbow Light for me and my family. Take control of your cold and flu season and head over to the Rainbow Light website to get inspired!
