Small Squares: April

Small Squares: April

Here are a few favorite shots and commentary from April this year. The year is sprinting past us SO quickly! What is happening, 2018? Why are you in such a hurry??? Stayed tuned for the onslaught of photos below…

^^^We celebrated Easter Sunday with the Clawsons and Bennions and as usual, it was a great day to be together.

^^^We adopted Bebe on April 6th so April was a REALLY big month for all of us! Here she is at the shelter just before we signed her adoption papers.
^^^We had to wait a few days for her to have some surgery and shots so we came to visit (it was so hard to leave without her). Here is Sophie getting her loves in with Bebe.
^^^There was also a news crew at the shelter when we stopped by so Bebe was on NBC Nightly news 🙂

^^^I made a HUGE change to my diet in April for health reasons (hoping to wipe out my Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis). This is what a juicing day looks like. I will need to do a longer and more in depth post but I followed the Joe Cross program; I highly recommend it.
^^^I purchased my Breville juicer off of Amazon and use it at least three days a week. I LOVE it. Check it out in my store.
^^^Healthy looks beautiful.

^^^Bebe feels like she needs to be RIGHT next to me when I am juicing 🙂

^^^”S” from Anthro

^^^I had the great opportunity to work with Google and Netflix on a special project in April. Simon and Sophie were very happy to help 🙂
^^^We also had a chance to partner with one of my favorite brands, French Bull, on a special project. Check out our taco night Lazy Susan here!
^^^Have you heard of Mom Bombs? It is a company that makes the most luxurious bath bombs ever and proceeds from every sale go to help mothers in need. Great product, great company!
^^^The Suisun Marsh on a random Tuesday morning.

^^^Sam ran his first 50K of the year with the Brazan Mount Diablo Trails race. It was a hot day at Mount Diablo and he did fantastic on a really tough course.
^^^This guy is such a rockstar. Who looks this good running 31 miles??

^^^I woke up early on a Saturday morning to check out the Hunter for Target collaboration and left with lots of shopping bags. One of my favorites was this Hunter backpack.

^^^Sophie participated in a Color Run 5K for her school.
^^^Simon competed at the Halden Invitational for Track and Field and had an awesome 1600 race, finishing with a 4:40. Best mile time so far for him. He is so good as a 15 year old freshman; we can’t wait to see how things turn out when he gets older.

^^^Sophie convinced me to buy yet another fish. That makes five fish now.

^^^Sophie helped with a photo shoot for our favorite stylist Jamie Glazier.
^^^Seb participated in the annual Loop the Lagoon 5K race and did great! He even placed in his age group!

^^^We helped our friends move (thankfully not away from us) and it was a FULL family affair for about three days. Here are all of the kids and the dog on the back of the trailer. Pretty dangerous…but everyone survived.
^^^Our hills showing off 🙂

I hope that your April was glorious and that time slows down just a little so that you can breathe. I’m saying this for you as much as I am saying it for me :).
