I saw this story on Yahoo the other day and immediately clicked over because I am a huge sucker for penny tiles. It turns out that this United Kingdom father and son team have tiled their entire garage floor in 2p coins (33,700 coins – worth £674) and it is GORGEOUS.

I would totally do this! How about you? It is such a pretty floor treatment that I’m not sure I would want to do it in my garage…but maybe if you aren’t parking your cars in there it would work and last? I would love to do this in my kitchen. Hmmm…this is giving me lots of ideas! How about you? Is there a room in your house that would look great tiled in pennies?
